rg_logo_outline_300They say if you do what you love, you never have to work a day in your life. Ottawa based Canadian country artist Rory Gardiner balances his life with making music and raising a family.

Rory has seen the success of his compositions published and performed by other artists, as well as songs licensed and synched in TV advertisements airing daily throughout North America. He has appeared on multiple CMT (Country Music Television) nationally broadcasted reality shows in Canada, and shared the stage (and golf carts) with a number of great country acts (Keith Urban, Aaron Pritchett, Dallas Smith, etc).

Rory has been active in country long before country music “was cool”. Kicked out of alt rock bands for having too much “twang” in his voice. He grew up in a musical family, surrounded by bluegrass instrumentation. Country music was a natural transition after catching the Garth Brooks bug in the 90’s. He’s never truly recovered.

Now with three full length albums recorded out of Nashville, and several charted country singles to radio, Rory keeps a busy 100+ shows a year, Canadian touring schedule. His single “On My Way” is the new theme song for WildTV’s Fall Brawl Hunting show, co-written with Canada’s own Tim Hicks.
In 2014 Rory recently released his first all original country music children’s record, influenced by becoming a parent himself. The album received a “Parents Choice Award”, and contains a track which is a Top 10 finalist for song of the year at the International Song writing Competition with over 18,000 participants, and also recipient of a Ontario Folk Music Award.

Rory has recently released a Bluegrass/Folk record called “Roots” as a tribute to where his musical influence were created. Rory states “I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us next!”

Tickets for the evening concert are $30 per person.  Doors open at 7:30. Tickets available on Eventbrite.
